A little thanks…

We here at  Play Fm Dublin would like to thank all our  listeners who have supported us over the last 4 years and have made Play Fm into what it is today, some people have been saying they are finding it hard to tune in through our website so here’s a few little tips on what you need to do :

First of all, for people who use Internet explorer, Firefox or Google Chrome, when you visit our site on any of these browsers, our player should pop up straight away and start playing, if it doesnt, you might get a message saying something like “Internet Explorer has blocked a pop up” if this is the case just go into your internet browser settings, which can normally be found in the top right hand corner of the screen and just add www.playfmdublin.com to your list of sites that allow pop ups.

Another way is to go onto our “Listen Live” page and click on any of the links for whatever player you would like to use. When you click on one of the links, a box will pop up asking you to save a file called “playlist” save this file to your desktop, once you have done so, double click on the file and it will open up your player and start playing.

Last but not least, for owners of the iPhone, you can download our web app directly to your phone, simply by opening Safari and typing in playfmdublin.com in the address bar, when it opens up our page you should see something like this

If you tap the button as is displayed in the grey box and click “Add To Home Screen” this will download the app to your phone, when you open up the app, click on Menu in the top right and you will then see “Listen Live” down the bottom, if it says “This is an external link. Do you want to open it in Safari” just click ok and it will start playing live.
